The south side of Mont Blanc is famous for its numerous off piste runs that start on the border between Italy and France. The Marbrées descent attracts free riders from the world over.
The descent takes a day, departing from Courmayeur on the Mont Blanc cable car, at Palud 1,370m, which rises to Punta Helbronner at 3,428m. From the top we ski to the foot of the Aiguilles Martbrées, go round the mountain to the left and climb up to the Rochefort Col at 3,389m (about 25 minutes). There are various routes to ski down. The top part of the run is the most difficult with steepness of up to 45°. The descent finishes in Val Ferret at Planpincieux, 1,599m.

NB Weekly ski passes, minimum 3 day passes and season passes are valid on this cable car.
In case of bad weather the excursion will be cancelled and cost refunded.
If skiers are unable to complete the descent due to insufficient skiing ability no refund will be given.
